Oh, well if we're just brainstorming what would be good rather than trying to find something...
How about a flashlight? Pop a sgian handle onto a MagLite.
Or maybe a laser pointer if you need that sort of thing for presentations?
I mean, only the handle has to be nice, right?

The sgain dubh pictured above is based on an orginal made in the mid 1800's
There is nothing 21st century about making a sgain dubh multifunctional
I'm an 18th century guy born into the 20th century and have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Er, question. Wouldn't it kind of, y'know, hurt to try to use that corkscrew?

I'd still want to be pulling against the back of the blade, not the edge. Eventually the blade could cut through the sheath, and if there's rivets, damage the edge.

That is what is claimed about this particular model, but I've never been able to find any concrete documentation for this type of sgain dubh being used by the Highland Regiments of the British Army. Until I see documentation, I'm leary of the claim -- I am a Missourian, after all, so you've got to "show-me"!
