Colored Socks

I have some, and can definitely recomend them; the over the knee socks are very well made, I imagine the rest of their product is of similar quality.

I have a couple pair of the O Marled, over the knee. They fold down neatly below the kneecap to make great kilt hose. Seem to be well made and holding up. I got them promptly after I ordered to boot. (pardon the cobbler's pun)

As others have mentioned hiking socks are often found in wonderfully neutral colors making them ideal for kilts but tend to be very expensive. Might I suggest picking them up at discount from Sierra Trading Post. They have an outlet in Reno, Nevada I used to go to all the time and you can find all sorts of great finds.
