Great looking kilt Ham! But I think somebody once told me that matching the pattern in the kilt with the pattern in the hose was a no-no. Now who might that have been....

Hamish is the High Priest of kilts. The rules only apply to us mere mortals.
My sock collection for kilting is dress-regular kilt hose (surprised?); hiking, hard play, cold weather-Smartwool socks; and casual/shopping/visiting-soccer socks.

I have some, and can definitely recomend them; the over the knee socks are very well made, I imagine the rest of their product is of similar quality.
I have a couple pair of the O Marled, over the knee. They fold down neatly below the kneecap to make great kilt hose. Seem to be well made and holding up. I got them promptly after I ordered to boot. (pardon the cobbler's pun)
