I can still see the ad. I was going to question it too. An occassional mention of church or religion (i.e. "I wore my kilt to church" or "I'll pray for you") seems innocent enough but this ad had a very negative tone. I was a little surprised to see it given the rules here. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it and I do try to take a "sticks and stones" approach. It was just really weird to see that.

This isn't about "questioning the way things are" or me worrying about posting something that might potentially offend someone.
A fellow forum member here has posted about wearing his kilt while serving at his church, and Google sticks an ad right underneath of it that proclaiming the "dark history" of organized religion. It just seems rude, for lack of a better term.
If a member of the forum posted the same information, they'd get penalized for it. "No religious postings" is one of the rules we operate by here on this forum, so it just seems a little off that ads for products attacking religion (either someone's religion in particular, or religion in general) should be allowed.
Is there any way to screen these Google ads that appear on the site? Or am I making too much of this?
