Oban was one of my favourite places. We had a great time there, and such a beautiful city.

weel noo.... ai've been tae 48 o the states... an leeved in Wyomin', Sooth Dakota, Utah, Californ'a, Virgin'a, Jaw'ga, an Indee'anna....

Great pictures and you have a lovely wife if I may say.
Where and when did you live in Wyoming? I was there for nearly ten years before moving to flat and windy North Dakota. Still dream of the mountains *sigh*. I was in Big Piney and Sheridan.

ai lived in the flat an windy part o' Wyomin'... Gillette... no far fraim Sheridan...
ai left in 1981.... a lang time ago....

Very very nice pics. Kilts everywhere - and very fine ones at that! 
We're in the very early planning stages of a trip to Great Britain next year. I think that I've found the perfect place for a stopover between Lancashire and Edinburgh. Hmmmm. Must peruse guest house website and British Rail schedules more closely.
