Nothing going on in central PA, which is why a group of us are going to the Tartan Day Parade in NYC. Only about 4 1/2 hours away but well worth the trip!

Mostly cloudy with a high of 46 degrees. Winds out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
That's about it, really. I'll be wearing the one tartan kilt I own that doesn't take 20 minutes to put on, and there may be a few others around campus kilted.

Nothing to speak of in Boston
So A few of the local lads from this site are getting together in Cambridge to toss a few pints.

Portland, Maine
Well, right now it looks like just me in my Black Watch on the USM campus, but I can't speak for everyone of Scots descent in Portland. (If someone is out there, let me know!)
Might be worth a visit to a couple of the local "Irish" pubs and see if anyone else is kilted... never know!

As far as I can tell, there is nothing planned here. Pretty sad, really. With a population af nearly a million people you'd think there would be something.
What makes it worse is I'll be working, so I won't be kilted for the majority of the day.
