    This is one great photo!

I heard about it from an e-mail I received from some friends of mine who just happened to be at the Atlanta Zoo while visiting there, and they mentioned they saw a bunch of guys in Kilts. Boy are they going to be surprised to know that I have seen the picture.

Great to see a whole family sharing the experience. I'm sure the boys will grow up much more tolerant because of it. Good on you.

From my time in Scotland, yes, there is the salmon etc. as Pour1 mentioned, but I remember deep-fried pizza and battered Mars Bars!!! Hits the stomach a bit hard but a good layer to soak up a few pints!

Funny, when I was in Asia, I ate dog, donkey, chicken feet and a number of other things North American people would find strange. Could never bring myself to tripe or blood pudding though. Why are we so hung up on beef, chicken, pork, turkey and hot dogs. For crying out loud, I know people who think duck and goose are strange and disgusting. A little perspective is needed.

    Looks like a great outing.

You could also explain bologna's ingredients to her.
My GF can't stand to the thought of that one. But then again she hates it when I eat Blue cheese on Ritz crackers too & now that our son eats it with me, she's doubly grossed out.
