I think mine is the Wallace tartan, I am not sure, as I lifted it off a google image search
I have no connection to the Wallace clan, but I loved the picture.

Forde (Irish family) tartan. My great-grandma Ford was right off the boat from Ireland in the 1890's....

Mine's a Wexford tartan, which I'd love to able to afford. Got some other cloth that needs to be pleated up first, though.

I'm using a Celtic style cross instead of a tartan. The motto on it is Hold Firm in runes.

Mine's Northumberland District (Shepherd) . . . the oldest tartan I think. Used by the Duke of Northumberland and also the Duke's piper (Northumbrian pipes; though the piper does not wear a kilt, but rather a fly plaid, I think like a drum major's, over Fusilier's Regimental Number 1 dress).

Mine is the Scottish Borderland district tartan.
Since I missed Glenn's thread about sigs, mine translates to "Virtue Reaches to Heaven."

MacDonnell of Glengarry. My great grandfather came from that region and my surname is listed as one of the septs of the MacDonnells.
I haven't yet been able to afford a kilt in that tartan, so I have one in MacDonald instead.
