They look a lot like Converse "Chuck Taylor® All Star® Knee-Hi"

Go to www.converse.com and do a search for "knee-hi". You should get about 12 returns; I know there's more offered, but thats all the search gives you. :confused:

Some of them are pretty funky looking, but there's a couple that are tempting. I just wish they went up to size 13.

I think the latest working theory is that his wife keeps a cardboard cutout around the house, and just stands it up wherever the picture is to be taken.
