    davedove,

Could you please start a new thread and give us a review of your leather dress sporran? It is new isn't it? I would like to know how you like it and where you got it.

Good judgment call on the sgian dhub, I think.

Although, wouldn't the modern equivalent be a pen sized stun gun?

    Hmmmmm.....

While I haven't gone for the full Scot dress regalia just yet, I think I would subsititute a more modern equivalent of the sgian dubh... namely, a Glock model 27.

    first pics of new kilt

Rather than start a new thread, figured I'd tack my photos on here.

This is what I wore to work for Tartan Day.

These are also my first photos of my new 8-yd, 13-oz Strathmore Hunting Robertson tartan kilt.

Today was also the day that my team had a team building activity - a 4-hr scenic train ride through the Verde River canyon an hour-and-a-half north of Phoenix. Got plenty of compliments & opportunities to tell folks about Tartan Day.

It was a great day, though every day in a kilt is a great day!
