    Off Kilter's stuff is good.

Any good rockin' bagpipe stuff is great, actually.

Power and Majesty by the Robert Shaw Chorale is excellent for workouts too.

I could go with any listed so far but I'll echo Colin and recommend BarleyJuice. Then go have some barleyjuice after the gym.

    wow

Lots of good choices. I have spent the last two days looking up these bands and CD's, and will buy at least three, maybe 5 of them today. My wife is going to be shaking her head,,,"and why did you need 5 cd's of bagpipe rock while stationed in Baghdad". I have her convinced how hard it is for me over here. You should have herd her voice when I told her I had a maid.

    Thanks everyone.

    Jay,

I have just started back to the gym after way too long.
So here is what I have on my Ipod

Gaelic storm. Lots of good fast paced long sets.
I got the dvd and ripped them on to cds and my new Ipod.
they have a few slow songs but mainly very upbeat.

    Enter the Haggis
A little more rock than pop.

    Another recommendation for ClananDrumma.
A friend of mine who is a marine said
"Listening to Clan an Drumma is very tribal.
It makes men want to fight and women
    want to mate."

I have been using the Ipod at the gym now for months. I loaded it up with all kinds of music. But, I have found the celtic beat very good for setting a pace on the eliptical.

    Clann an Drumma/Albannach
    Enter the Haggis
    Mackeel
    Dagda

I am working on getting some more on there. Hopefully Dropkick Murphys and such.
