Calgary Herald magazine
This pic was on the top of the front page, advertiizing the weekend magazine today. This was the first page of the article, a rather wandering self indulgent and kind of pointless psuedo analysis of masculinity. Cool pic though. Nice kilt, not so sure about the cowboy boots (although I shouldnt talk Ive worn my motorcycle boots with mine) and we wont talk about the shirt.

Now, I'd wear the shirt. Any like to the article online somewhere?

This is what I get for not reading the Herald. Hopefully my parents will save me the article.
On a similar note...in todays' Calgary Sun newspaper they printed a small picture from the "Dressed To Kilt" event in NYC. It showed one of the female models, as well as a decent shot of Sir Sean Connery.

I felt like I was one with the Kilt. Now I must make a stampede to Calgary and say that is one neat pic, even though I would not have a shirt like that, so not me.

I might could do the shirt, if I had a plain, long sleeved shirt over it...maybe something out of a outdoor catalog. The boots? no, never. Hiking boots maybe with that shirt and the utilikilt. Cowboy boots?...too broke back.

Hey, it's a look. It's not my style, but not every guy wants to look like a 17th century Victorian schoolboy.

Well, Calgary IS a big cowtown. Cowboy boots are part of the dress code. He forgot his hat though.

Hmmmmm...I've lived in Calgary for 26 years and the only reason I even own cowboy boots was to wear at my wedding (wife's idea). Last year I added a cowboy hat, but only to wear during Stampede week while driving my bus. Stampede week is the only time we're allowed to be out of uniform.

Funny, I looked at the shirt and said, man, I couldn't get away with wearing that.
