I applaud the ingenuity - others here have done the same thing - but it just doesn't look right without the cutaway. Alan H. has built a website with a tutorial on modifying a jacket.

We have a monthly kilt night in Binghamton, Andy. You should come down and join us.

Unfortunately, the April gathering was last night. It's the second Saturday of each month at McGirk's Irish Pub in Chenango Bridge, just outside the city of Binghamton. It's easy to get to from I-81 and I-88.

There's live Irish music, and the band has mixed in some Scottish stuff for us. We usually get about a half-dozen kilted gents and some spouses/girlfriends.

I missed last night's gathering, too. I'll try to remember to send you a message when next month's event draws near. If you don't hear from me, send me a message.
