Those boots look cool and all, but they'll be murder on your feet. Manmade materials means they don't breathe like leather does and the sweat will be held in. Not only will they start to smell real bad in short order but they could easily cause foot problems.

I was perusing the rest of the Hot Topic site and is it just me or is the "Blood Blazer" (ye gods what a name) look short enough to be a kilt jacket?

About the boots, if I were a Scottish Vampire and was trying to impress Kate Beckinsdale I'm sure I would want to pick up a pair to go with my nightstalker tank and skull sporan.

I'm fairly certain you would have to stand in line with the rest of the masses trying to impress her...

I think the kilt might push him to the front of the line.

...you know that I don't want to burst your bubble but my daughter and i saw those boots at a Hot Topic at the mall and I'm pretty sure that they're in the womens' department....of course an argument could be made for "unisex"...but we have been considering them as an accessory for my daughter's grammar school graduation....

...plenty of motocross boots that are somewhat similar and in mens' sizes.

About the OP's boot suggestion... look decent. WAAAY too tall for my liking.

About the two pairs of H-D boots... I dig the second pair.

About the Oakley boots... the wife would have my head, because I'd have to get them in black AND sand.

As for my pick... oh yeah... you can't beat the Red Wing Boots. I actually rock these quite often when I wear my camo kilts. I don't have the opportunity to wear my kilts daily, but I do have the opportunity to wear these boots daily. I sprung for the zip up fastener, though, so no laces on mine.
