Logo Design Competition

Ok! The Rovaniemi Highlanders Rugby Football Club is now officially registered association. Now we have launched a logo competition and I will spread it here too, because I know you dig the name of the team!

So, Desing A Logo for Rovaniemi Highlanders RFC and post it here to enter the competition. We are not able to provide any nice awards for the winner but we will use the logo on our jerseys and display the designer name in the special "Heraldics" section on our website (when we get it done). So, grab you pens and paper (or computer mouse) and make an entry and get the glory!

hehe. Rovaniemi is the city name. (Featured in Conan O'Brians Finland special) And we don't have specific colors yet. Actually you can place the colors you want or think will look good or make a black and white logo for us to fill. Up to you. We need the logo now for advertisement purposes. And if team colors follow the winning logo design we can probably adopt them. No tartans, maybe we some day register our own but absolutely not now

The best format is to make plain Black and White logo. We can print it in single color or color it on our own.

I am not giving any specific deadlines because we don't play national league until summer 2007. But as I said we need the logo for advertisement purposes already so maybe I'll say Before end of this month.

Ok, I thought I can use this same thread to tell news how we are doing. Today I took the association registration forms to Registration office. And city's secretary of sports told that we can get a training time for one of the best fields in the city now that we are registered and we will be playing Finnish Championships League and Finnish Cup the year 2007. Pretty marvelous news for us!
