What makes you think that the rental guys know any better?

Well, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but you make a good point. I'm sure there are good dealers, but there are probably some who say "You want kilts? No problem, here you go. Just strap it on and you'll look great." And that is the limit of their instruction.
