I figure the easiest way not to loose track of that stuff is to leave it in the sporran...that way when you put the sporran on the next day, everything is still there!

Whether I'm wearing those (shudder) dreaded things to work or the kilt somewhere, my wallet, keys, cell phone, change etc all go on one corner of my desk. Always. For some strange reason, I always find it there too. Even after my wife cleans up (she always moves EVERYTHING to a different spot, except that)

Andrew.
I knew an otherwise fairly proper girl who called hers a p**** pouch, due to where it hung - never did seem to sound right, coming from her.

Same here, I put my wallet and keys on the table, my watch on the nightstand and my phone on it's charger. And amazingly enough I find it everymoring!

you don't have house gremlins? I know I do. My wife has managed to looses everything but the front door on more than one occasion, pesky little critters...

The only thing I regularly carry in my sporran is my wallet. The only time the wallet is not in it, or a pocket of my work pants, is at night. At that time it gets set on the file cabinet in my home office. My keys stay in my jacket pocket, or hung on a hook next to the jackets by the front door.

I'm just always used to the pockets. No matter what pants or shorts I was wearing the day before, the wallet and cash are always in the left front pocket and the keys and change are in the front right pocket. It's just that getting used to the sporran in the whole operation has left me blind a couple of mornings. It's all coming together though.

I'm horribly absent-minded, and it just gets worse as time goes on...I've solved the whole issue of losing my wallet by getting into the habit of ALWAYS having it, and ALWAYS moving it to my shelf before I turn in at night. It's part of me. However, my keys...they are a different story. :-P
