Hey Norby,
THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!
Never figured out how it is so many corporations expect me to pay them to wear a garment with THEIR name on it?
For me, doing that is corporate codependency. I'm cool because I wear a Wranglers shirt or a Calvin Klein shirt...come on...
Don't mind wearing and supporting kiltmaker's shirts to promote the kilt fashion boom though.
Wonder if The Gap knows how many sweatshirts they sell to Navajos who live in a reservation town called The Gap? Just a little rez town where there's a break in the Echo Cliffs and a road cuts through to Coppermine. If you happen to see a Native American in a sweatshirt that says, "GAP" their not necessarily a fashion conscious/status person, they're probably Navajo from The Gap, Arizona.

BobC.....I would wear it mainly to Rockies games, who are going to be the World Series champs in 2006, xmarks my words (notice the subtle little plug. I am such a salesman!) That is why I am a California/Anaheim/ South Disney Angels fan. Now, before you call me bandwagon, I was born and raised in Southern California, so I am entitled and have always been a fan.
Onion....I would so wear the pink and purple kilt/shirt combo. But, remember, it would that businesses logo that everyone would read. Just make sure the kilt is short. VERY short.
I agree with Riverkilt....notice when you buy a vehicle, the business puts a sticker with their logo on the rear bumper, window or trunk? Heck, I am paying them for the vehicle, they should put my name on their business.

And make that hot pink kilt very non-traditional by putting a big slit up the side so that Norby can show some leg!

Hey Norby,
As you might guess...EVERY car I've every owned, the very first thing I've done is to take the dealer sticker off of it. Usually easy to remove when they're fresh. The manufacturer's logos are more firmly affixed.
I've done the same thing to the labels on my SportKilts and AmeriKilts. The embroidery on Utilikilts and Freedom Kilts I just leave though...can't get it out without making a mess.
