    because union people are paid insane amounts of money to do their job. If someone else does their job, they may loose theirs. So they get extremely unhappy when someone else does their job, for which they are paid far far far too much.

    What Kilted KT said. It wasn't her job to move the broom. She should've found a union person to do it, who would've then told her that it wasn't his job to do it and she should ask their foreman to find someone to move it, even though it was a safety hazard.

    It seems ridiculous and it is, but it's the way real strict union shops work. My father said that his great uncle didn't almost get killed at the Homestead Strike in 1892 so some *&(#*@$$ could write his daughter up for moving a broom.
