Gray and brown
A little odd combination of colors but I tried my gray mocker UK with a brown mock turtleneck and hose with my new Target "griffin" brown belt. I think it works. How about you?

It works Panache, it works. I'm a fan of subtle colours like that. Great look.

Hi Panache,
I really like the look and that's a beautiful room; makes a great setting for a kilt pic.

The kilt/sweater/socks works very nicely....it's a good look. I, too like combinations of more subdued colors like that.
I like the armature on the walls and the piano is wonderful.....but is that the Hound of the Baskervilles you have, slavering there on the floor behind you?
LOL
Looking forward to meeting you at one of our SF Bay Brew nights, soon...

Great "look"
The thing that strikes me is how "natural" it looks. Just a guy in his kilt; not trying to make a statement--a very comfortable and sensible dressing option for any guy. I think, this is the sort of thing that most men could relate to.
Thanks for sharing this. Let's have more of it!

I like it. Very low key....save the red flashes which warn not to poke the tiger eh?
Think I've seen some nice brown and gray tartans....so why not? I missed out on the solid gray mocker....lucky you.

Good look, except I would lose the flashes. I tend to wear darker colors with my gray mocker as well, but never tried any brown.

A good example of the use of colour, Panache. Normally, I dislike seeing woollen tops being worn 'tucked-in' at the waistband, but you manage to carry it off here. Just two things could be an improvement in my eyes: grey footwear to catch the kilt colour (in general, using the same colour for hose and footwear is not visually a good idea) - and losing those bright red flashes! They do nothing but distract, I'm afraid! If you must wear flashes with a Utilikilt (!) try matching the kilt colour.
Altogether, forgetting the actual colours, you have matched the tonal quality of both of them - always effective!
