That is a great look. Where did you find a button down shirt in kilt green? I have hose that color, but have not found a shirt that matches.

I really like that tartan as well.

The hose are bottle green and the shirt is almost a perfect match; the Croft & Barrow® Oxford Dress Shirt was found for me by my fiance at a local department store named Kohl's (don't know if you have them in your area). I just checked their website and only white and blue are available online.

However, you can also find similar shirts on eBay, like the Ralph Lauren Blake dress shirt. If you don't mind the corporate branding (Polo logo), these are great shirts as well (I have several). You can also get the Blake Shirt at Polo.com but I think they consider hunter green a seasonal color as they don't ever seem to carry it online until late Summer/early Autumn.

bad kilt jokes from a man of the cloth? Sorry to hear that. I will ask why you don't want to wear it back, though. You shouldn't feel the least bit ashamed or embarassed about your kilt, regardless of what someone else says. I'm sure most people here got a good ribbing or two the first time they were seen in any given place with a kilt. It is little more than the general public's tendancy to make fun of something different or that they don't understand. Wearing it again next time you go will show the pastor that you are not wearing it as a joke, and that it has a true meaning to you. And not to delve too far into a religious discussion...shouldn't the pastor be well aware of persecution and ridicule?

Good luck. We are here if you have questions or support..

KT's preachin' to the choir again...But seriously: Today was quite interesting as far as stunned looks and gaping mouths go; I saw more than I could count (I was quite probably the only kilted man there). That's to be expected in a congregation of over 800 people, especially when you enter the church at the front near the altar and the place is already packed with parishioners.

As I said to macsim in an email today, the Monsignor paid me the highest compliment of the day so the ones who looked upon me in utter horror can take it up with him if they're that easily offended..he'll set them back on the straight and narrow.

Thats a great looking outfit, and a great looking tartan. I dont think I've seen a pic of a kilt in that tartan before. I like tans and greens.

I wore my SWK Nightstalker with a grey button down today to my friends. Got a great compliment from the only lady there I was interested in impressing.
