Many thanks to Michael and Matt for that information. As a mere Brit I have never known what 'Kirkin the Tartan ' was/is about, and have been too lazy to 'Google' it!! I'll ask our Parish Vicar, who is a Scot through and through, what he knows of it. My guess is - nothing!
