    kilt tux

hrmmm...anybody seen this new pic on the UK website?

    tux kilt

you don't think you could do this in a light morning colored outfit...with an ascot and vest? I think it'd could be sharp if done right.

if done right that coudl be very sharp - was thinking about doing something similar for the ultra dressy occasions - just a matter of finding the right fabric to go with an existing tux jacket as i aint making one of those again!!!

    Interesting idea, Cloves...Hmmm.

Personally I'd opt for a really dark tartan kilt. Check out the Dark Isle tartan, for example. That's nearly black. Or for a gray and black tartan, Highland Granite is just stunning. Still, you'll pay $250 or more for even a 5-yard in either of those tartans.

If you're on a tight budget, I bet a 2006 Nightstalker from Stillwater, teamed up with my Polyester single button Eton jacket and black tie woul make a prretty sharp-looking outfit.

Of you could get a Freedom Kilts new "Traditional" in black twill. Those are flippin' nice from everything I've seen, and worth the $$.

...and it would've looked better without the tails - the kilt seems to have the "tail" aspect covered already.
