I'm not opposed to the idea, although his father would rather he spent his money on something else. I'm more concerned that he's going to hit up his grandparents for the money. That isn't exactly how I'd like him to raise the funds.
Yes, I joined, if only to come and say thank you to all you fine men who have graced my journal. Prester John is a very persuasive man to get you all to come over.

Not really. We'd just rather do kilt-related stuff than work.

What tartan does he want, Kizmet?
It's axiomatic that we appreciate a thing more if we work for it. But gifts are so nice to receive.
Perhaps the lad could paint your house for a kilt and sporran?

Kizmet,
How about telling your son to join, if he hasn't already? We are a great support system.

Such sadness, we have vinyl siding, so the house painting is out.
We do have trees and logs to deal with, however.
Right now, he's in school and already on the computer too much. I'll hold off on introducing him here until after the school year ends.

Just curious - what tartan has D'Argo chosen? Given the number of professional and amateur kiltmakers here, someone may know an inexpensive source of it.
Now I'm picturing "FarScape" with kilted Luxans ...
