GlassMan...request recived and granted!
BKkilt....if any beer splashed i didnt notice...and if it did...they are gonna get a tub soaking in the next month anyways....and please lets not get into the whole washing wool VS dry cleaning debate ( I know SOMEONE will bring it up LOL) if we couldnt get wool wet then all the sheep in the world would be minatures is my take on it, besides in the past 8 years of kilt wearing , i have yet to have a problem with my kilt shrinking...besides the obligitory weight gain of marriage and since my weight fulxuates with the fire season( lose it during fire season ....gain it during the winter) its not even a big deal then either!
Glass......I didnt realize you were a fellow smoke eater! when 9-11 happened I was on a list to go back east to help, but the day of my flight they cancelled us...too many came already.

Yup, I'm a crazy smoke eater too. And boy did we go back to the old-ways that day. For those of us in the central courtyard things got really hairy. We ran out of full airtanks part way in, and when the refills came from the outside parking area, the bottles had been filled with compressed smoke. The damn air & light unit is just a giant air compressor and someone had set it up downwind from the fires. Needless to say, we just pulled our hoods up over our noses and went in to fight the fires the old fashioned way. It was forever until I finally stopped sneezing black snot! And when I get a really bad respirator infection and the coughs go way deep I still can cough up black chunks to this day. Legs and lungs, two things that stopped working right after 9-11.

Glassman, my father was a wildland firefighter for 37 years before retiring, to this day he still coughs up black crap on occasion and his sinus' are all messed up still. Take care of yourself and you will be fine, it just takes awhile
