As many of us have said in the past, it is vitally important (for the good of our kilts) to have a pin for each one and for it to be removed only when having the kilt cleaned.

Thanks Hamish. I remembered your advice about a pin for each kilt.
I was specifically looking for a pin with a yellow stone for the MacIan tartan, as that is the kilt I am going to wear with my formal outfit and I wanted it a bit fancy.
I really liked the design on the second one myself. It's still somewhat martial in appearance with the hammer shape, but it wasn't the all too common sword. Like I said, it's from ScottishKilts.net, in their Celtic kilt pins.
The designs on the link you provided are also interesting. I'll have to keep them in mind for future kilts.
