yeah great - rub it in the missus is off to Athens this afternoon, meaning: 1) I can't go to the Dubliner's concert 2) I can't go to Athens Well, enjoy!!!!!!
This is kind of a stupid question but the Dubliners or the Young Dubliners?Either way it will be a great show.
I promised a post about the concert : We arrived at the theater about 40mins before the concert started I was dressed thus Already while walking to the concert I was stopped only to be asked where the theater was..I wonder why  My wife and I went for a drink in the bar. I heard a voice from the corner call my name. I mate from work (Who I had no idea liked the Dubliners) He said I should have guessed you'd be here. My next suprise was that our tickets were in row 1 right by the stage (So close we could touch it) The Dubliners took the stage . They have a new singer in Patsy Watchorn who has taken the place of Paddy Reilly. Lets just say that the concert was fantastic . The two high points were a love song sung by Banjo Barney and a well know sea shanty (South Australia) also sung by Barney. If you haven't seen them live try to.....They are really something Heres a link to an unofficial Fan site http://www.geocities.com/toeye/dubliners/index.htm Thers also a concert date listing
Not to hijack the thread, but doesn't that look like Hamish's garden???
Yep! I had it specially copied down to the every last detail as a tribute to the Great man himself
David, sounds like fun. They don't seem to travel to North America. Guess we'll just have to come to them.
