Welcome.
Welcome to Xmarks! I agree with Alan on the durability of a canvas kilt. I have 3 Buzz Kidder canvas kilts and they wear like iron. Darrell

Thank you's to all welcoming this nOOb to the forums. For Kilted KT, here's the lowdown: The material is a canvas duck similar in weave to my Carhartt work pants but the weight is not as heavy. It will be a heavy devil nonetheless. A quick "seat of the pants/eyeball/guesstimate" measure says that 4yds x 60" wide weighs about the same as 2 prs of Carhartts. I will be posting pics as I get started. Right now I am still in the gathering stage, to be finished gathering this saturday. Would like to come out for kilted friday across the bay but a previous engagement has foiled that. Hope to see all of you next month, though. Ray "Warning-keyboard not found. Press F8 to continue"
