As anxious as I am to get this kilt made, I decided to have a swatch of the muted tartan sent from Scotland. I will take about 3 weeks to get it, but I will feel better in making a decision with the swatch. I guess, what's a few extra weeks when making a decision on a garment that costs about $700 and will last a lifetime. Thank you for the feedback and the private messages.

That's great. I hope you like the swatch they send you. Would it be possible for you to post a pic of the swatch? I'd like to see it. You don't see Barclay tartan on here that often.
