    Pins, pins, pins

This is what happens when I get bored All done in a few hours on Sunday and Tuesday, except for the silver one. Four of these are going to my groomsmen, one to my finacee, and the rest will be going up for sale. These are copper with thin steel pins (the size of normal pins.) These are all small, the about the size of a silver dollar or a bit bigger (except for the silver one.) Since they're copper, most have a good heft, though a couple are on the lighter side.

Here's a steel forged one for one of my groomsmen. It's unfinished, just rough from the forge.

I can post closeups if anyone's interested.

    excellent craftsmanship...

what would you charge for one like the forged pin ( four of them, actually)? The e-bay kilts I bough have a very short apron, and a kilt pin would help immensely.

    Thanks all

SB, the silver one is sterling silver. Two strands twisted. The bottom right copper one is the same, but I melted the ends together, which creates a little ball on the end.

KT, that pin would go for about $40, but it's around 4.5" in diameter. I could do similar ones at a smaller scale more suitable for kilt pins, so it'd be more like $25 a piece (the finials are complicated). There are always possibilities. PM me and we can talk about what you need.

    Cheers
    Nick
