Okay, wore the USA Kilts MacLean Hunting Casual to work today. Very comfortable, very cool on a 77 degree F day.

Have worn the Black Stewart SportKilt to work, also very comfortable.

A couple weird things, more related to the Freelander Sporran and Craigie Sporran Strap than the kilt.

My Freelander has antler weights at the bottom of the cords. Sometimes when I was seated the cord would slip over the hem of the kilt and the weight of the antler would pull the cord down making the kilt lay kinda weird. I don't sit at a desk, but sort of oblique from my clients so they can see my kilt hem, but not look up it.

The other thing is that the way I put the kilt on I left some of the hook side of the velcro exposed on the right side of my waist. I happened to use a Craigie Sporran Strap with the fuzzy velcro inside to protect the kilt. Well, when that fuzz on the strap hits the hooks on the kilt waist the sporran is firmly locked in place. Making it a challenge to move to get to the buckle to take off or to move out of the way to take a leak. Gotta pay more attention to covering the velcro hooks when I dress.

Also, in the interest of science I also took a seat in the restroom for the obvious reasons. Found it was easy to hold the back pleats out of the way while completing the operation. Another advantage to the casual style kilt.

If I would have been wearing a vest instead of a sporran today probably would have just taken it off.

Don't wanna beat this thing to death, but thought some folks would wanna know.

And, posted a pic of todays outfit in the show us your pic section.
