Xmark discount at Ferintosh!

also… their 3 star, 4 star, 5 star rating system is completely naff… dinnae trust it…

According tae VisitScotland & VisitBritain-- a 3 star in England is a 2 star in Scotland…

a 4 star in England is a 3 star in Scotland… (we stayed in a 3 star that was filthy

an moldy in London… shuid nae hae had 1 star …)

(we also stayed in twa different 4 stars in Oban… wan was tiny and moldy (wi a pathetic breccy)

an the other was large, clean, an great (wi a pathetic breccy)…

last week we stayed at a very expensive 4 star hotel.. (£140 per night) …the room was very large (the bathroom was tae) decorated in the early 90’s…but the service was crappy and the breccy was pathetic…

VisitScotland gies NAY stars fur customer service… an they dinnae really care aboot the quality o

the breccy… they DO award stars fur how much the guest hoose/B&B/hotel charges

(higher charge = maire stars) an for size of room, and how expensive the furniture is….

mai best advice is….

Book places based on whit ya think o their website; pictures, comments by other guests, services offered, and cost…

Look fur travel websites where guests can leave comments aboot places…

but there are lots o other guid places tae.... ya jus hae tae seek em oot....

(but ainly 4 places in Scotland (thot I'd heard o') gie ya complimentary single malt.... )
