I'm growing to learn that Hamish is right in stating that sending them to the cleaners not something that you really want to do. I'll dig around and find the thread here about cleaning kilts and have it posted here in a bit.

    I've been using Glassman's suggestion from this thread - the Dryel home dry cleaning kit. Other than covering the straps (there's a warning about not using this with leather), there's no muss, no fuss.
