This thread is an example of one of the joys of this forum... It's great to know you are not alone. Bubble butt or not, many of us experience this situation frequently. I still worry about getting a urinary track infection, since it's not just my "bits" that touch the chair surface, but my "stick" as well--usually in a "face down" position!
In situations where I'm out in public seating, I've taken to keeping my legs together and my parts stay more up in my lap rather than hang down. Another ploy is to sit on the front edge of the chair, spread your legs and allow everyone to just "hang loose" over the front of the chair. Especially in a UK, the apron more than covers everything.
At any rate, in time, you get used to is and the initial shock wears off!
(Now, I know some of you guys are embarrased by this discussion, but those who are probably wear underwear anyway .)
