I saw that influence too. But the face has a sort of Anime feel as well.

i can see a bit of 'Tom of Finland' in there but to me its more along the lines of Glen Hanson - who takes the Tom of Finland stuff into a more cartoonish and modern realm with his G-men series

my wife loves Tom of Finland's art, and, amazingly, she had no idea who he was until I told her. Now I can't get her to shut up about it :P
