Be careful with the Spear Knot Kilt Pin; it has a weak spot where the two parallel loops end in the middle. I have one, and it will bend easily if you happen to press up against something - like say, the steering wheel as you climb in, or the edge of a chair.

I just wanted to post a follow up to Ham's recommendation about St. Justin. I ordered two pins from them a couple of weeks ago and they arrived yesterday--individually boxed and neatly packaged with a handwritten note apologizing for the "delay" (what delay?) They are very nice, good weight and well-made. The price is exceptionally reasonable and the shipping charge was about as low as it can get for airmail from the U.K.

(Don't let the "copper" effect on the pins fool you. They are both stainless steel. I believe I had a relection from above.)

So, lads, my strong recommendation goes to St. Justin of Cornwall. Give them a try and let Eileen know you heard about her on XMarks.
