Somehow, it didn't surprise me that kilts didn't place better in the standings. In fact, I was pleased to see that it did as well as it did. We, of the bekilted, tend to be less than objective in our opinions... even though our opinions are correct!  Most people continue see the kilt as a nice bit of Scottish costume rather than practical attire.

I wonder why the bonnie lass modelling the kilted skirt on http://www.geoffreykilts.co.uk/lw_info.htm was not listed. Should be in my book!

I agree. And in this case the kilt looks just fine a few inches above the knee.
