Well, it's been almost a full day since I read the first post, so I think I've shown enough restraint ...
YES! Matt has my cloth! Matt has my cloth! HEH-hehheh-heh-hah!

Ahem ... now that I have that out of my system, I return you to your regular thread, while I settle back into Phase 2 of the XMarks Jones - waiting for the kilt.

Wompet, good form my man! No gloating as the first reply on the thread, unlike my selfish whining! Not that there is anything wrong with that...
I wish you the quickest delivery. What did you decide for a kilt? Box vs. knife pleat, and sett or stripe?

I thought with box-pleated kilts being Matt's specialty, and him being the designer of the XMarks tartan, that it seemed appropriate that this (first?) one be box-pleated. I did order 4 meters of double-width cloth, so the possibility of a second knife-pleated casual is there.
Going by the pictures Steve posted here, I had wanted it pleated to the gray stripe. Matt told me that wouldn't work with the box pleat, so the kilt will be pleated to the yellow stripe.

That should look sharp! I was debating between pelating to the yellow and grey myself (opted for grey).

Hey,
I wound up with some extra, posted to the for sale forum. Don't know if its enough to do much with other than accessories, or make an X Marks flag, or scarfs...

Back off Dee, I outweigh you!
Seriously, I got a note from Matt this afternoon that he received my fabric as well. Maybe I should re-think that whole "I'll have the only box pleated Xmarks kilt" scenario. Seems like others have caught on.
I can't wait to have it, but I also know that the wife is goin to ask where another kilt came from when it arrives... Maybe that Weathered Lamont from SWK was not timed the best (for my wife, not me). Now she knows I have gotten a kilt recently, so will question another one if it comes in very soon. Maybe its a good thing Matt has a number of orders...

But ... but ... I paid Matt back in February for the kilt ... he's already cashed the check ... why should you go first?
