so long as said kilt police are not wearing a true kilt, but a short kilted skirt ( with all the natural acoutraments that would be expected of such!)

Amen KKT! No kilt checks from those that have to shave! (Their faces that is, legs and genital areas are fine!)
(I hope that makes it through the mods!)

And no offense to those on the board who do shave other places. I am always open to new experiences, just stating my own preferences.

Dang, I was hoping for some sox/hose feedback. Its already up in the 80s here. Have quit wearing kilt hose. Now wearing (gasp!!) regular sox with low cut tennis shoes. Have been pushing them down, which seems sort of silly with regular sox, but it seems to look better than having them pulled up.

Ahhhh the challenges of kiltwearing in warm climates. No, sorry, can't wear sandals to work with my kilts...on the river sure, at work no way.

Ron, me, too. Guess you and I will just have to set the fashion trend ourselves. For the office, I find hose matched as normal, but rolled/pushed down to the ankle works fine. Nobody here in the office knows any better anyway, and new people meeting me never look farther down than the kilt. I could wear orange socks and pink ballet slippers, and I doubt anybody would notice.

On a positive note, all of those navy and black dress socks I have that I used to wear with p#$%s, are getting used again now that it is warm. Seems silly to pull on a pair of kilt hose that reach to the knee, or above, just to push them back down.

Good point about the ballet slippers....thanks.

Silly me, I just bought four pair of kilt hose and two jackets just in time for summer....

Them kilt hose pushed down are still HOT in summer...

Maybe our pushed down crew sox look will be the official "kilted geek" look for 2006....?
