I'll have my swatches by the end of the week, so maybe on the weekend or early next week.
Any interest in the 14oz from anyone, or would the preferance be for the 21oz?

My preferance would the 21 oz. one. I would be wearing this during funeral services. Standing at ease for 20 minutes or so in December while kilted gets a little on the cool side.

Let me swim against the tide and say that I'd be intersted in a 14 oz.
Actually, I'd have to see swatches of both, but I'm not dismissing it out of hand. You never know what you really need in such a garment.
I may have to consider an extra long one, for when I am in cassock and not kilt!

Standard length seems to be mid calf from most places. I'll make them custom length. Actually, completely custom. Seems from an older thread, some guys may prefer them to be somewhat shorter, maybe at the kilt-line, maybe just slightly longer.
December in Georgia cool?

the basis for my request is usability in the wilds of the forests. While I would love one for formal occasions, actual functionality in a storm is what I'm looking for.
can you post a pic of what your design will look like? maybe a pattern or image of one similar to what you are making?

Basically the same as this
Possibly an Irish type as well.
