On the 15th of this month I will be celebrating the 7th Anniversary of my end to trouser tyranny - yes, 7 years since I stopped wearing trousers. It must be five years ago that I finally got rid of my last pair.
As for the kilts: I invariably change them at least twice, sometimes three times, a day, depending upon where I am going and what I am doing.
I hope you feel better!
congrats on being trouser free!

I'm always kilted when in my free time. Once in a while I'll wear a UK to work, but it's generally safer to wear pants where I work.

I try to wear my kilt as much as possible but at the moment its only on 'special occasions' although I did wear it out clubbing last week so i'm climbing out of the kilt closet slowly but surely

Hamish, I was hoping we'd hear from you on this one! Not even a pair of trousers to be found huh? That's amazing.

Hamish isn't the only one to get rid of all his trousers. I'm only on the 1.5 year mark but I've already given all my trousers to charity. The only one in my closet is the one that goes with my Tux and I only kept that so that I could sell it as a set.

On my own time, I wear kilts - exclusively!
Monday-Thursday have to wear leg prisons (pants) to work ("Kilts are not proper business attire." - mgmt)
Fridays & Celtic Holidays I get to wear kilts to work (& always do)
About 1/2 of my mobile DJing clients request I wear leg prisons, so I do (but the good news is that about 1/2 of my mobile DJing clients want me to wear a kilt! )
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

I've always thought it odd that women can be allowed to wear mid-thigh-lenght skirts to the office, but if a man wears a knee-length kilt it's "not appropriate."

About once a week in public. But maybe three times a week at home.
Some of my friends -- the otakus, the painters, and creative sorts -- are very accepting of the kilt. But some of the people I run into at school are slightly less so. So I wear it when I feel like it, but with *some* regards to who I'll be seeing.
