I would be interested in any lighter weight materials. We have nice weather almost all year long and I would like to get some use out of the cape.

I bought one in Edinburgh over 10 years ago and it still looks new. I wear it all winter long even with my business suits. Looks great and gets a lot of compliments. Paid 650 pounds for it. Made by Stewart Christie & Co. I would like to have one in a different color and if you start be prepared to have a lot of orders. Only one question...are you making it to the original style of Inverness or the Hollywood style?

Yes, ByDand. A picture please. What do you mean by Inverness and Hollywood styles?

Moosehead and others, would it make sense to have the cape part one weight and the coat part a different weight?

The only difference I can think of re. Hollywoood or real, would be that older cloaks/capes are circular, while newer ones are basically a sleeveless coat with a cape attached. Is that what you meant ByDand?
