you are not the only one who thinks it is odd. just last week a memo went out, changing the dress policy here. Open-toed sandals are now allowed. The ban on lycra/spandex has been lifted, and appropriate hosiery is no longer required. And, of course, kilts are still only allowed for special occasions.

while this is true in our eyes, those who do not recognize the kilt for what it is are a bit slow to accept it. I'm working on it. have to work Monday, and I'm wearing my BlackWatch ebay tank to work ( it is a holiday). We'll see how that goes over. If it is a non-event, I'll take it slow and see where I can go with this.
