We will certainly add him to our list of prayers.

Don't despair. My mom has had cancer 4 times. Was the first survivor EVER of the first kind she had. Had some more last year. She spent most of my life in the hospital. Now, she lives in Tucson, AZ in retirement, happy and active. She's 66 this year.

    God grant you both peace.

Mike, I truly believe that the power of prayer has kept me alive through several events (mostly heart and liver) and I will be remembering your son when I say my rosary. Stay strong.

    Mike,
My mother had brest and uteren cancer at the same time and she got treated and recovered and has been cancer free for 15 years. Still has to go in for exam every year and she is 81 this Oct. My dad and mom went to Busch Gardens last month, so it does not have to stop you from "living". Get a second oppinion. Keep those fingers crossed and we will pray for the best.

Your son and family are in my thoughts, Mike. I wish him well.
My younger sister is also a cancer survivor. She had a brain-stem tumour when she was 11. The doctors told my mom that she probably wouldn't live to see 15. Alot they knew! She's now 35, happily married, working full-time, and living a good life. Cancer CAN be beaten.
