Mike,
My mother had brest and uteren cancer at the same time and she got treated and recovered and has been cancer free for 15 years. Still has to go in for exam every year and she is 81 this Oct. My dad and mom went to Busch Gardens last month, so it does not have to stop you from "living". Get a second oppinion. Keep those fingers crossed and we will pray for the best.

Your son and family are in my thoughts, Mike. I wish him well.
My younger sister is also a cancer survivor. She had a brain-stem tumour when she was 11. The doctors told my mom that she probably wouldn't live to see 15. Alot they knew! She's now 35, happily married, working full-time, and living a good life. Cancer CAN be beaten.

Damn, married??? Phhhhhhhttt!!!
Anyway, Mike, hope your son gets better. One of my friends had lymph cancer back in 1998. With him having radiation therapy for a few months, he was back to normal and has been feeling fine ever since then. The doctor literally told him 6 months after he had gone off the radiation therapy that he could go live his life. My father has skin cancer on his left cheekbone. Hopefully it can be removed fully without too much surgery.
