Work-a-holic, in cyberspace, all caps is considered YELLING! It would also make your messages more understandable if you could use some punctuation. Thanks.

Even the best company's have problems once in a while...
Like R.W., I have two Locharron kilts and they are very high quality. Neither has had any problem that wasn't directly my fault. Their turn-around time was very quick as well. (6 weeks from order to pick-up.)

Hey Robin. You'll get COMPLETE satisfaction from them. Their reputation goes way beyond the quality of their kilts and extends to their entire business. The kiltmaker that did YOUR specific kilt will not be employed in their system for long. Being trained by two of their retired kiltmakers, I know the strict methods that they adhere to with the quality of every aspect of their products.
Yes... they DO source-out some orders. They do, however, only use "certified and trained" kiltmakers in the system. You actually have to submit constant pieces in order to maintain the alliance. It's pretty strict... but it's also quite nice for the customer. Their difference is that they use "kilt makers" and not seamstresses and tailors. There's HUGE difference.
I'll be more interested in how long it takes to make the "fix".
Arise. Kill. Eat.

The kilt is back
The kilt arrived at Lochcarron 4/21 and DHL tried to deliver it (wasn't at home) 5/5...it came today.
2 weeks...that's what I call speedy service....very nice!
The kilt is fixed (invisible...so a good job), basting threads, cleaned (I can smell) and pressed.
Hands up for Lochcarron customer support and service
