    Overwhelming!

    Thanks Steve (and Dale)... I'm a bit overwhelmed by all that, but then I've never tried to alter a pair of pants either. So, maybe to a good seamstress, this would not be so confusing. I'll be sure to carry your detailed instructions with me when I go hunting for one!

    BTW, UK still has their 33% discount on new UK's when you trade in a used (but in good condition) model. Still, I guess it's cheaper to go with alterations, if I can find a brave(hearted) tailor!
