I'm pretty sure that this was in Scotland. The folks pictured there are from the Timber Framer's Guild, at the end of a project where they tried to build one of those giant medieval slingshot contraptions using period tools and techniques. The project was featured on Public Broadcasting.
In the very next moment, everyone who dared turned around, bent over, and answered The Question.

it looks like the same group of guys that built the two trebuches on Discover or the National Geographic channel posing after the stones were lanched at a wall they built.
