Thank you, Ham! I've got an email in to an Irish Aran sweater weaver to see if they can find the pattern for my family name. I've always been told that "Gingles" is a very common name in Ireland, yet I cannot find any information or history at all!

And yes, I think you "qualify" to wear the Irish National tartan. I think you of all people should be able to wear whatever tartan you fancy. Go for it!

I found my "to be's" sweater, and a LOAD of others of interest.

Can't seem to find the "Carbomb" weave!

Chances are... I could mix Jameson, Bailey, and Guinness into a single pattern?
