Thanks for the compliment. I wound up taking about 240 pictures last weekend.

I will definitely be at the Games. It will be the first time I've been since I moved back from Florida. I've usually been out of town that week for vacation. I went to several before moving. Now that I'm back I can't wait to get back to the Games. I plan on taking plenty more pictures.

I'll be the fat, balding guy in the 8 yd. Douglas Modern. Well, I'll be *one* of the fat, balding guys in the Douglas Modern.

My belt hasn't come in yet, and I have no sporran, but I plan on getting one while I'm there. I'd hoped to get both at the Festival, but there weren't many vendors. It'll most likely be kilt, TShirt and boots for me that weekend. I've had my kilt for several years but have yet to wear it to any events. If my new Amerikilt has come in by then (I doubt it will) I might wear it instead, since it won't be as heavy.

Whereabouts in FL? We have lived in FL for most of our lives (most of our family is there) until a forced career change landed us in Chicago last year. Hope to get back down there soon.

You may be surprised about your AK. If it is in-stock, they usually ship pretty quickly.

I am planning on driving down next Friday for the weekend. We'll try to hook up. I know that Matt Newsome will have a tent for the Scottish Tartans Musuem. That might be a good meeting place.

I lived in Bonita Springs. I wasn't happy while there. I thought, having grown up on the coast in Texas, that I'd be happy, but I was miserable. I got back up to the hills in Tennessee and am much happier now. A lot of it probably had to do with the job situation, but I really missed the cool air, fog on the hills and country roads.

I'm hoping the AK is in stock. I'd like to have something a little lighter than what amounts to a formal kilt to wear, plus I'm deathly afraid of destroying such a nice kilt by getting on the ground to shoot pictures. They've not sent a confirmation email other than my PayPal receipt, so I don't know if/when it was shipped. I would think I'm a pretty normal size (40/22, black this time) but I could be wrong.

phinz, I can understand not liking Bonita Springs if you are used to the TN mountains. I grew up in Ft. Myers and actually went to Bonita Springs middle school, many years ago!

Great pics, thanks for sharing. That is indeed Ewan aka. Phatpiper on to right. He shaved the gotee for this recent part of the tour thats taking them all over the US. There in Dallas tonight and then to Houston for there games this weekend. He's another CCK wearer. They don't get a break in the action for a few days untill they rap up this leg on the 21st in Chicago.

Yeah that is ewan (phat piper) He called me today to see when his next kilt will be finished an 8yrd camo I've been working on it slowly as he is always on tour anyways he'll be down in a week or so to pick up said kilt and he and I must work on getting the bhoys to play at the Fergus Scottish Festival.

KS, where are they playing in Chicago? And is that the 21st of this month? Might have to plan a kilted get together with the few Chicagoans we have here. AA, you in?
